WE LANDED ON MARS, NOW IT’S TIME WE CAME UP WITH A SIMPLE WAY TO SET UP A WEBSITE 2008-06-05 You have to run faster than Ben Johnson on steroids to catch up with the speed of technology. The internet has changed everything from what we do in our spare time, who we communicate with, and most importantly HOW we communicate. Think of advertising…the mediums went from cereal boxes and milk cartons to billboards, to radio, to TV, and now the most common form being the web. Everyone and their stuffed animal (literally) is online and every artist, business, and organization who hasn’t been living in a cave for the past 20 years has a website displaying their work. The problem is that along with the demand for having a great-looking online presence come a flood of technical questions and has made the power-computer-geeks the most sought after friends in the modern world. But we plan to lower the cell phone bills of the geeks… SAYVEE. (the superman in this story) We are creating an all-in-one simpleton-proof solution for artists (from musicians to tightrope walkers) where they will be able to set up their own website, customize the design, edit their content, as well as sell their own schwag with a couple little clicks of the mouse. Did I mention it was simpleton-proof? We are madly working with a team of amazing computer geeks and web designers to release this as soon as robotically possible but the beautiful thing is that this system will soon be available to all churches, ministries, and organizations to use. It’s no secret that there are a lot of church websites out there that are a disgrace to the human race (it’s awesome how that unintentionally rhymes). Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure the people who designed them have a good heart and all, but the fact is that HOW YOU COMMUNICATE CAN BE JUST AS IMPORTANT AS WHAT YOU COMMUNICATE.
